Pietro Romanengo fu Stefano, was founded in Genoa in the second half of the 18th century by Antonio Maria Romanengo and is still owned and operated by the Romanengo family today. Untempted by modernization, the family continues its long tradition of candy making with fruits and flowers.
Their products are made by hand with the same recipes used centuries ago. They are crafted using finest, rarest and most exotic ingredients and the utmost care is used to preserve the fruits and petals without the use of preservatives or coloring.
Their rose petal syrup is widely considered to be one of the best and most flavorful rose syrups available in the world today. This amazing product has an intense flavor of rose petals and well balanced sweetness. Rose Syrup is an ancient and delicate product, consumed hot in winter to alleviate sore throat, while diluted with water to become a refreshing drink in summer.
Today, rose syrup has become increasingly hard to find, so to preserve this great tradition we offer it at b/L. Add the Romanengo rose syrup to sparkling water and prosecco or serve over ice cream or yogurt. In addition, it can be used to flavor cakes or as dressing for fruit salad.
